Greenwood Senior Apartments, at East 27th Street and Cleveland Avenue, includes one- and two-bedroom apartments. Most of the units are geared toward residents with lower incomes, with rent payments based on income through assistance programs, and the rest are market rate.

The Arterie, a new three-block walking path located near the streetcar stop at 45th and Main, brings together three major area art destinations: the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, the Kansas City Art Institute, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum.
