2️⃣ Kesha kicks off opening season at the brand new Morton Amphitheater that just opened north of the river. The venue hosted a public tour on Monday night to show off its amenities, including a greenspace with tables and chairs for relaxing before shows, a canopy covering the open-air bowl style arena seating, and a variety of food and drink options including offerings from Boulevard, Rieger and Tom’s Town.

3️⃣ A new subdivision with 131 homes is likely coming soon to Bonner Springs. Circle H Land Development filed a preliminary plat on May 20 to develop housing east of 142nd Street between Interstate 70 and Kansas Avenue. The planned subdivision, Lynn Valley, is the developer’s first project in Bonner Springs and the city’s first large single-family housing project in 20 years.
