2️⃣ Kansas City has one of the top "stickiest" downtowns in the nation per the Gensler City Pulse 2026 report, and not because of the heat and humidity. The report is based on a combined measure of how often people say they visit a place and how long they stay there. KC ranked number 10 on the list and got its highest marks for being authentic, walkable and memorable.

3️⃣ Billie’s Grocery’s new sister concept, a Mexican restaurant called Casa Ama, officially opened yesterday in the former Salty Iguana location in Corinth. Casa Ama also seeks to serve “mindful” cuisine, meaning it leans on the healthier, cleaner side of things in a similar fashion to Billie’s. Their menu includes everything from shaved ribeye tacos and garlic lime shrimp to a poblano smash burger.
