What’s up, Kansas City! We have a fantastic weekend full of fall festivals ahead of us (say that five times fast), with everything from art and crafts to food trucks and craft beer; no wonder it’s our favorite time of year! Let’s get into it.

FRIDAY

The weekend kicks off with the Plaza Art Fair, one of KC’s most beloved traditions. Spanning the entire weekend, this event brings hundreds of artists, live music, and local food vendors to the Country Club Plaza. It’s the perfect mix of culture and community, and a great way to support talented creators.

If you’re looking for something a bit more offbeat, head to the Third Friday Art Walk in downtown KCK. This monthly event highlights local artists, makers and performers, with plenty of chances to explore, shop, and connect with Kansas City’s creative scene.

SATURDAY

Saturday is stacked with events for all ages and interests:

Shawnee Town Arts & Crafts Fair – Wander through rows of artisan booths filled with handmade crafts, art, and décor while enjoying the historic charm of Shawnee Town 1929.

Lenexa Food Truck Frenzy – Treat your taste buds to a lineup of food trucks serving everything from BBQ and tacos to sweet treats. It’s a delicious way to sample KC’s best mobile kitchens in one spot.

Oktoberfest at Transport Brewery – Celebrate Bavarian style with festive beer, food, and music at Transport Brewery, and don’t forget to bring your muscles for the stein holding contest. Prost to fall!

Fall Family Festival – Hosted by Kansas City Community Gardens at the beautiful Beanstalk Children’s Garden, this event offers kids’ activities, produce tasting, and seasonal fun for the whole family.

SUNDAY

The weekend wraps up with Hokus Pokus Live!, a dazzling stage show starring Ginger Minj, Jujubee, and Sapphira Cristal. With its mix of music, comedy, and drag artistry, it’s sure to bring plenty of sparkle and energy to your Sunday.
