Today weโre talking about iconic doughnuts, 4D movies coming to KC, and a very special birthday!
1๏ธโฃFluffy Fresh is BACK, and new owners Eric and Christina Benson sold out in just 2.5 hours at their grand opening last Thursday - but honestly, we arenโt surprised! โEveryoneโs looking for handmade stuff, and you donโt see that much anymore,โ said Kyle Conroy, a friend of the Bensons and longtime customer of the original Fluffy Fresh Donuts. As of now, Fluffy Fresh Donuts are cash only, and the sales tax is included in the price. Itโs open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 to 10 a.m. or sellout.
2๏ธโฃ Going to the movies in Kansas City is getting an upgrade! AMC announced that their Barrywoods 24 location in the Northland will soon introduce the first 4DX experience in Kansas City theaters. The technology adds a physical dimension to the film-watching experience, with viewers being paired with motion-based seating that has over 21 environmental effects including wind, water, snow, vibration and scent. We canโt wait to check it out!
3๏ธโฃ Yesterday marked the 46th anniversary of the birth of one of the top real estate agents in the Kansas City Metro! Tony Long was born on March 24, 1980 in Manhattan, KS. His accomplishments over the last four-and-a-half decades include graduating from K-State, cultivating a booming real estate business, becoming part-owner of a CrossFit gym, marrying a blonde baddie, fathering four rambunctious babies, and attending some sweet concerts. Cheers to another trip around the sun, Tony!
