Who's in Your Corner When You Take the Long Way Home?
Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make. It's emotional, it's complex, and it moves fast. That's why at the Long Real Estate Team, we don't believe you should have to navigate it alone — or with just one person in your corner.
We're a team of eight, and every one of us plays a specific role in making your experience as smooth, informed, and positive as possible. We thought it was time you got to know us.
Tony Long — Owner & Operator
Tony built the Long Real Estate Team from the ground up because he believes real estate should be a team sport. His goal has never just been to get you to the closing table — it's to earn a friendship that lasts long after the deal is done.
When he's not fighting for his clients, Tony runs his own CrossFit gym, where — no surprise — he's met a whole lot of those clients along the way. At home, he's kept plenty busy with four kids: Lucy, Lucas, Miles, and Meredith.
David Barraza — Licensed Agent
David grew up right here in Olathe, so when he says he knows this market, he means it. He works with clients at every stage of the journey — from first-time buyers to seasoned homeowners — and brings a unique edge most agents don't have: a general contractor in the family. That means David can walk through a property and see it at a level most people can't.
Off the clock, he's home with his two dogs, Mack and Nala. And yes, he once ate Chipotle for two months straight. No further questions.
Leah Huntley — Licensed Agent
Leah's focus is making sure you and your family feel confident and supported at every step of the process. Buying or selling a home is one of the most significant transitions of your life, and she treats it that way — with care, attention, and the kind of calm steadiness you want on your side.
A proud Leawood local and mom of two boys, Leah is deeply rooted in this community. She's passionate about real estate in a way that genuinely shows — and she often jokes that a star is more recognizable than her actual signature.
Emily Hagen — Marketing Coordinator
Emily is the engine behind how the Long Real Estate Team shows up in the world — and how your home shows up when it hits the market. From social media content to coordinating photos and managing listings, she makes sure every seller client is positioned for success.
A KU Jayhawk who achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and packed her bags for France right after graduating, Emily brings a big-world perspective and expertise to a very personal process. Rock Chalk — and bon chance.
Chad Green — Licensed Realtor
Chad has been with the Long Real Estate Team for eight years, and what keeps him going is simple: at the end of the day, they helped somebody become a homeowner. That's it. That's the whole thing.
Before real estate, Chad built his career at some of Kansas City's most respected companies, including VML. He brings that same professionalism to every client interaction. At home, he's got three kids — Morgan, Will, and Henry — a daughter-in-law Grace, and a grandson named Jude, which officially makes him the first grandpa on the team.
Amber Schuessler — Transaction Coordinator
Amber is the person making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Utilities, deadlines, paperwork, the hundred small details that pile up between contract and closing — that's her world, and she handles all of it so you don't have to.
A Kansas City transplant of 14 years, Amber is fully at home here. She's the kind of person who keeps everything organized during the day and still finds time to sneak out for a quick happy hour.
Liz Black LeManske — Licensed Agent
With over seven years of selling real estate in Kansas City, Liz knows this market — and she especially loves being in the corner of first-time home buyers finding their footing for the very first time. She joined the Long team a couple of years ago and has brought serious experience with genuine warmth ever since.
A Drake Bulldog (converted to an honorary Jayhawk courtesy of her husband, Thomas) who also attended UMKC, Liz is fully Kansas City through and through. At home, she's got two dogs — Hank and Leroy — and a growing collection of new recipes she's always excited to get home and try.
Adrienne Towner Ramler — Licensed Agent
Adrienne is a wife, a mom, and someone who genuinely loves walking first-time home buyers through one of the biggest moments of their lives. She's not in it just to close a deal — she wants to be your long-term friend. She'll show up for you during the transaction and stick around long after.
A Pitt State grad who's been with the Long team for a few years, Adrienne is warm, energetic, and happy to help anyone at any time. She's also highly intuitive — so intuitive, in fact, that she can tell you whether or not your new house is haunted. (This is not a joke, and honestly, it feels like a pretty valuable service.)
We're All in Your Corner
Whether you're buying your first home, selling your forever home, or somewhere in between — you deserve a team that knows what they're doing and actually cares about you. That's what we've built here.
