1️⃣The Kansas City Chiefs won their first regular season game of 2026 against the Broncos at Arrowhead. After a tough couple of seasons for Chiefs fans, the team is back and looking better than ever after a major win against the Denver roncos last night. With a new defense strategy, Patrick Mahomes back for his first game post-knee surgery, and the team debut of running back Kenneth Walker III, 2027 just might be our year. Go Chiefs!

 

2️⃣Boulevard Brewing has a new limited edition collaboration with Louisburg Cider Mill just in time for fall. The KC-based craft beer giant and reigning royalty of apple cider have teamed up to release Old Fashioned Hard Apple Cider for the 2026 fall season. You can find this crisp, spiced brew made with freshly milled and pressed Louisburg Cider Mill apples on local taps, in some liquor stores, and of course at the Beer Hall in Kansas City’s Westside. 3️⃣The hottest chicken salad joint in town opens another location in Johnson County, with more on the way. Chicken Salad Chick first expanded to the Kansas City area in 2024 and has been receiving rave reviews from Kansas Citians ever since. The chain currently has four area locations, and a new one is set to open in Olathe as soon as renovations are done in the former Penn Station East Coast Subs spot. After that, a sixth location is planned for Bluhawk in the summer of 2027. Yum!
